1. (carbon held in) permafrost thaw,<\/span>
\n2. loss of methane hydrate (uptake) from the ocean floor,<\/span>
\n3. weakening land carbon sinks (forest cover) and<\/span>
\n4. weakening ocean carbon sinks (plankton volume),<\/span>
\n5. increasing bacterial respiration (decay) in the oceans,<\/span>

\n6. Amazon rainforest dieback (from drought, heat, erosion),<\/span>
\n7. boreal forest dieback (same),<\/span>
\n8. reduction of northern hemisphere snow cover (and reflectivity),<\/span>
\n9. loss of Arctic summer sea ice, and<\/span>
\n10. reduction of Antarctic sea ice and polar ice sheets.<\/span><\/p>\n

A steep rise in core ice melting shows on the bottom right red line.
